Adjudication of Incapacity Case Action

Once a case is created in GTS for a petition of incapacity, the next step is to record the judge's ruling on that petition. This topic walks through the steps to record when the judge orders an adjudication of incapacity and declares the appointed guardian or guardians. Recording the adjudication is critical in order to allow guardian reports to be completed online.

Integration of the GTS and Case Management System

If your case management system is integrated in your county with GTS, be sure to record the adjudicatory case action in GTS. The data you enter will be transferred automatically into your county's case management system.

If your county is not using integration, you must record the adjudication in both your case management system and GTS.
