Updating Flags on a Report
If a report from a guardian automatically generates Concern of Loss flags, or one or more flags are added manually, their status must be updated before the report is marked as reviewed. No report can be marked as reviewed if it contains a flag in a New status.
Updating the Flag Status
To update the status of a flag, perform the following:

Under the Ready for Review tab on the Dashboard, click the View Report Details icon |

Click the View Report with Flags icon |
3. |
Flags are displayed in the margin of the question that caused a concern. Review the information provided by the guardian. If needed, you may print the report by using the Print icon |

In the Flag Details grid, click the Flag Review icon |
5. |
Find a question that needs to have a flag updated and click the Edit Flag icon |
6. |
Update the Concern Status dropdown. |
7. |
If needed, record Comments. |
8. |
Click the SUBMIT button. You are returned to the Flag Review screen. |
9. |
Repeat Steps 5 through 8 if there are additional questions with flags that need to be updated. |
10. |
When finished updating flags, ensure the Close radio button is selected at the bottom of the Flag Review screen and click the OK button. |
Viewing the Flag History on a Report
Each time a flag is updated, a new record is created that shows the new status, comments, the date it was created, and the person that performed the update. This information can be viewed for each flag.

Under the Ready for Review tab on the Dashboard, click the Flag Review icon |

Find a question with a flag you need to view and click the Edit Flag icon |
3. |
The history can be viewed in the Flag History grid. |
4. |
When finished reviewing the history, click the "X" in the upper right corner of the Add/Edit Flag popup to return to the Flag Review screen. |
5. |
Repeat Steps 2 through 4 to view the history of any additional flags. |
6. |
When finished reviewing flag history, ensure the Close radio button is selected at the bottom of the Flag Review screen and click the OK button. |
Viewing the Actionable Flags Report
When a report contains one or more flags with a Concern Status of 'Actionable', the report can be printed with only the actionable flags displayed. The Flag Summary Report, which is appended after the last page of the guardianship report, lists the actionable flags and their history. This function may be beneficial for review by the judicial authority.

Updating a Flag that was Added in Error
If a flag was added to a report in error, you must correct it since flags can never be removed:

Under the Ready for Review tab on the Dashboard, click the Flag Review icon |
2. |
Find a question that had a flag added in error and click the Edit Flag icon |
3. |
Update the Concern Status to either No Concern or Resolved. |
4. |
In the Comments, indicate that the flag was added in error. |
5. |
Click the SUBMIT button. You are returned to the Flag Review screen. |
6. |
Repeat Steps 2 through 5 if there are additional questions with flags that were added in error. |
7. |
When finished updating flags, ensure the Close radio button is selected at the bottom of the Flag Review screen and click the OK button. |
