Suppressing Flags on a Case

When flags are suppressed, they will no longer display on reports even when the condition exists where a flag would normally be presented. This can be helpful to avoid having to use the flag resolution function where a condition is already known and has been addressed but will continue to display on yearly reports.

Suppressing Flags

To suppress flags on a case, perform the following:

1.

Under Find a Case on your Dashboard, enter the case number and press ENTER. Optionally, if the case number is not readily available, click the Advanced Search link to locate the case. The GTS Case screen opens.

2.

In the Suppressed Flags tab, click the Add Suppressed Flag icon Add Suppressed Flag icon above the grid. The Add Suppressed Flag popup displays.

3.

Select the Flag Type you want to suppress on any reports by selecting the radio button in the first column.

4.

Click the SAVE button to return to the GTS Case screen. The suppressed flag displays in the Suppressed Flags grid.

5.

Repeat Steps 2 through 4 to suppress any additional flags for the case.

6.

When finished suppressing flags, you may return to the Dashboard.
